PS5 networking issues
Been having a ton of issues with DBD on the PS5. I’ll boot the game up and will get a ton of different error codes. After restarting the game a few times I can get into a game or two before I get kicked off again. Interestingly enough, the game works fine on my PS4 Pro on the same network?
I’ve tried restoring licenses, port forwarding, wifi & Lan connections, reinstalling the game (both versions), rebuilding databases.
Curious if anyone else is experiencing these issues?

I’m on PS5, and I’m not having those types of issues. Only problem I’m having is laggy games with major rubberbanding. But that seems to be an issue with the UK server, not PS5 specifically. Sorry you are having this problem though.

I was having the same issue on Christmas day. Playing on PS5, kept getting disconnected from host and then getting an initialization error on restart. Wait a few minutes then it would finally load and do the same thing next match. Internet was fine. Had someone play on their PS4 account on same network with no issues. Played a few games last night and it was fine so far, so idk. On east coast btw.

I’ve contacted the DBD team and their only other suggestion was to change my NAT type to 1 (currently 2). Need to open the following ports:
- TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480
- UDP: 3478, 3479
Currently running the PS5 on a static IP with all those ports except (80, 443) at the moment. Will try that when I get home from work.
If all else fails I’m resetting my PS5 and contacting Sony lol

I'm almost positive my issue was server related. Played some more games today with no issues. Hopefully you get it figured out.

Yeah I’m hoping so too. I changed the ports & even did a factory reset. Issues still persist
