Luck is useless
Seriously. Get rid of these luck perks and offerings or buff them so that they actually become useful. Peace out. And a Happy New Year to all of you.

It ain't that bad tbh,,,4 salty lips + buckle up or up the ante can't remember which one of those gives luck is almost a free unhook,,buff them and they become a bit too stronk,,but a funny niche for sure

Luck improves chances of a Self unhook, yet Self unhooks are detrimental to Survivor progress.
Luck should improve Item rarity found in chests and increase chance of addon on item.

Would be nice if it actually did something even if they wanna keep what it does at least add to it to effect chest loot to up your chances of getting purple or Iri tier items.

Luck is useful, you just need the entire team to be bringing 4x Salty Lips + 4x Up the Ante. At that point you can kobe extremely consistently (89% without Slippery Meat, 99% with Slippery Meat) and it's basically Deliverance without being Broken for 60 seconds and without needing to get a safe unhook first.

That requires a SWF who wants to meme though. Not useful at all.

It's a pretty sweaty build if you're playing seriously; 3x Salty Lips + Map offering and every survivor sacrificing 1-2 perk slots in order to deny any pressure from first hooks is really strong if they're efficient on gens since you can still do 3x DH+OTR/DS+UtA+SM and 1x DH+CoH+UtA+SM and just never waste time on altruism since everyone can self unhook and go heal in the boon

gonna be real with you. If you can't actually remember the name of the luck perk than luck is pretty useless lmao.
They should at least make it improve chances to get better items or something.

In my opinion luck and its perks should be reworked in the future.
I remember when I was a newbie with very few weeks playing the game I thought that luck made you find better items in chests and I was surprised when I found out that it only work in the hooks for scaping. A good way for reworking it is the chest items rarity I think.

So is 90% of things in dbd. Things should be just removed from a game to reduce bloat and not scare new players. For example keys. They their OP and now absolutely no one uses them. Why still have them in a game? Just delete them instead of confusing people and change prior tomb challenges.
Where should be some de-bloat mid-chapter their useless offerings and items gets removed from dbd to make the game less confusing. Like fog offerings which do absolutely nothing these days with new graphics reworks.

oh, ok. So I feel like there’s a reason you don’t usually see SWFs using luck-based offerings + Up the Ante or Slippery Meat unless they’re memeing. When SWFs play to win, they don’t use any of that stuff. Why do you think that reason is?

If something requires a full 4 man set up just to force value for 1 thing, then clearly there's an issue that needs to be addressed with how weak or useless that thing is
