I'm in a very peculiar situation and I figured I'd ask the community to maybe to find a work around. My ex-wife and I use to play DbD a lot together on my console and most of the progress and purchases were made on my main account. Which unfortunately is linked to my windows account and attached to all my stuff. I'm hoping someone knows of a way to let her utilize the progress and purchases, if possible, without completely giving her my Xbox account. I still use my account regularly and don't want to lose any of my games/progresses and also don't want to be kicking each other off while we simultaneously try to use my account. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Nat

The only way to share the in game progress is to share an account as far as I know.

Xbox does have a feature that can be used for sharing purchases across 2 different consoles.

If you set their console set as your home/primary console, they will have access to all content you have purchased on that account on their console using any profile on that console. Allowing them to create and use their own profile to access your purchased content on that console.

You will still have access to all your content while logged into your profile and connected to xbox live on any console.

This feature was mostly for family sharing within the same house, which I will assume is what you are doing.

So this would allow both of you to play at the same on different profiles and both of you would have access to all things purchased through x box live, however anything purchased in game with shards/bloodpoints would have to be re-earned.

There is one other side effect where if you are not connected to xbox live and not on your home/primary console, you may not have access to your purchased content but that has nothing to do with dbd beause you need to be online anyways but is something to keep in mind for other games.
