POV: I Missed A Name I Should Have Recognized and Now My Internet is Gone
And such is my fate.
Just a silly clip, uploading while I'm waiting for my Internet to come back on lol

Damn, that sucks.

Seems more like a skill issue to me, tbh... a name recognition skill issue! So there are hackers out there that you know by name, now? Ugh... thats rough.

Its always the purple haired yuis

That's messed up
Hope you reported them

Am I missing something?

I'm guessing OP meant that a hacker DDOS'd them or something.

It's a Xbox booting clan, so kind of hacking, kind of not. I keep a list of names and I just didn't see that one

A what?
Also, how do Xbox players... boot you?
0 -
They DDOS you using IP logging software/websites.

It's not really a BHVR issue and Xbox doesn't seem to care

I hate this with a passion. This has happened to me as killer and also as survivor.
People really can't handle an impending loss or down.
Or just do it to be toxic

Didnt know Xbox users could do that.

You really need to talk to your ISP about this.
0 -
Maybe.
It's slowed down since Crossplay was added and since I memorized the names of the people. Prior to that, I was seriously considering just quitting.

Yeah, as I understand it, it's a fairly big issue in Siege and console OW too.
Other team is winning and they're on Xbox? Just kick them off their internet.

Can anyone from any platform drop the Xbox users or is only Xbox dropping other Xbox users? For example someone playing on EPIC could bomb a Xbox user?

As long as you have access to a certain website that logs IPs, you can kick Xbox, Playstation or anyone on GTA Online lmao
For more technical things, idk. It's possible to run an IP sniffer but much more intensive. You'd actually need knowledge on how to do that.

I swear the dbd community is wild. “Yeah I get DDoS’d sometimes playing this game I don’t even like, what about it?”
0 -
I normally like the game.
Just sometimes the people playing it get to me.

Have you taken any steps to remedy this (contact isp/law enforcement/etc)?
You seem to post about it a lot, but inferred in the post above that you have not mentioned it to your isp.
If people are DDoSing you with free reign and you don't do anything, they'll continue to have free reign.

It doesn't happen a lot but it is something I'm concerned about.
I'm usually pretty good at dodging and there's a lot of players on Crossplay. Like I said, it used to happen a lot more when there wasn't cross play and MMR was stricter.

I know sometimes (this may not be your case) if someone DCs, it also affects another person in the game. Most times I just assume I get DDoSed when disconnected from the game, but I've also noticed me DCing also caused others to DC. I don't know if it's just bad netcode or not or just convenience. Same with others that DC, sometimes it affects me too as I assume I just get booted offline as well.
