Force survivors to take action (no more permanent hiding)

The following situation (or similar) has happened to me several times during the last two weeks.:

-> 2 Survivors are left in the game.

-> I defend 3 gens that are close to each other (but sometimes situation happens also when game just goes bad for survivors).

-> Survivors decide to not do anything at all but hiding. (Maybe to hold the game hostage, maybe to wait for the other one to die trying to get a hatch)

This turns the game into an abysmal snoozefest. If people decide to just hide without doing anything meaningful, the game takes forever because it is extremely easy to hide when not trying to do anything. Even trying to search for survivors doesn’t feel right because it would mean abandoning the generators and freely giving away a win condition.

Solution:

Quite simple. If the game went on for 5+ minutes, (and more than one person is alive), survivors have to do some of the following actions within three minutes or be marked by ravens. These actions should include: healing, unhooking, generators. In my opinion this should basically not intervene with anything else in the game but permanent hiding.

Right now I have plenty of matches where I work on gens and take aggro, and the other three survivors do... nothing. They Urban Evasion around the edges of the map. Whether they're too scared to participate or so selfish they play for the hatch from the second they load in, I don't care, it ruins the game.

For the killer, it only sucks when all remaining survivors are immersed. As a survivor, it sucks when all remaining teammates are immersed. BHVR needs to choose: is this a team game where everyone pulls their weight, or is this a lone wolf game of hide-and-seek? It can't be both. Team players are miserable in a lot of matches with BHVR trying to have it both ways. BHVR hides behind "unpredictableness" and "player agency," like their customers don't quit playing the game over numerous matches of bad teammates. Like killers aren't miserable checking bushes being stuck in matches indefinitely because running Whispers shouldn't be a requirement to not be held hostage.

Sorry. To sum this up: I agree with your point plus I think the problem goes further, and I took this opportunity to rant a bit. Any day I start up the game and play a few matches, I find myself needing to rant about this.
