    NOOO!!!

You will make the fragile survivors salty!!!

They deserved their escape by exsisting!

But seriously, it is nice to let them go, but they shouldn't be expecting to be let out just because the others quit, would you expect survivors to give you free hooks if your lagging?

Personally, i let them out, but you shouldn't if you don't want to.

Idk, the way I see it people disconnecting for no good reason, especially early in the match, ruin the match for three people - and only one of them is able to capitalise on it. With two DCs there is no "playing normally".

Imo, the best course of action for all involved is to make it a "neutral round"; two survs repairing all gens takes ages and I usually don't have the patience for that. But it doesn't take a lot to keep them from de-pipping at the very least. Make sure they get that much, then end the match quickly so everyone can move on.

I agree. If players dc then farm the rest nicely but let them go. A few hits then back off. Its just a game. Respect the gamers who dont quit

There is no right answer because there's no agreement even among survivors how to deal with it. Some think you should farm. Some just want to be hooked and get the game over with ASAP. Some want to try to play normally and let the chips fall where they fall.

You will never please everyone no matter how you react so don't worry about trying to.

Play as you want and move on, sometimes it is the remaining survivors who want to get hung up to jump to the next game so as not to waste time in farming, so

Unless we're down to 1 or 2 gens I'm probably not letting everyone escape just because I don't want to sit through all the rest of the gens. I also don't want to normalize letting three remaining players farm because one DC'd, as making this the norm becomes exploitable ("the game is going bad so I'll selflessly DC and force the killer to let everyone else go").

But I think giving one survivor hatch after a DC is a gesture of good sportsmanship -- not required, but I would encourage it. It's usually who I think is the more skilled or more fun/silly survivor.

just kill them off and get to next match. you didnt ask them to dc. they chose the fate of who is left behind. they dont care.

Meh. I stopped doing this after multiple times of Survivors being allowed to farm gens, then using flashlights/DS/Head On to prevent me from getting hooks and insulting me the end game chat, as if they got out by skill.

Now, I just kill and move on. If anyone whines, I tell them it's their fellow Survivor's faults.

If one or more players disconnect, then that makes the game a practically guaranteed win for the killer. I will say however that it's nice when the killer throws the remaining survivors a bone under these circumstances. Being tasked with fixing 5 generators when the team is down one or more players is just ridiculous. Not saying that killers should go easy, but BHVR needs to do something to help out survivors in this scenario.

Personally I think that for each player that disconnects, one less generator should be required to be fixed. If not that, then have a bot hop in. At least it's better than nothing.

As someone that plays far more survivor than killer, just get me out of the game ASAP. It's clearly over. Let's just end it and move on.
