PS5 - Issues when playing with Friends
I have been experiencing a recurring issue since mid/late November. The issue is with connecting with friends in their lobby and in my lobby. Essentially I can’t join lobby’s or when I do I get booted after the match and I can’t rejoin the lobby unless I fully close down the game & reboot
The same issue when I do the following:
- If I’m already in game, and my friend invites me to their lobby, I don’t the get the invite and can’t see the person as online. I usually need to close down the game, reboot it and then I will be able to accept the invite
- After finishing a match, survived or killed, I get a “disconnected from host” error. I go back to lobby and I’m unable to invite or join a party. From my pov it states that my friend are in match or in menus when they are actually in lobby. From their pov they can see that I’m in lobby but when they send me an invite essentially the same as point 1 happens.
- On occasion my friend can see my character in their lobby but I’ve been disconnected from host and I’m in a solo lobby and my friend is marked as in match
These issues have happened with players who use PS5 & Nintendo Switch, the exact same issues happen with both so I believe the issue is on my side.
Are other player’s experiencing this ?
When I started experiencing the issue it was the same time that PS5 players were loading into game with the cursor issue preventing them to play, I thought maybe the issue I was experiencing was related to that but that doesn’t seem the case .
Any help on this would be appreciated
