What I'm I doing wrong?
Hi all,
Objectives/Survival/Altruism/Boldness, OH MY!
I’m semi-new to dbd and I’m totally baffled. Now, I’m a survivor main and I can admit that I’m a decent okay player, certainly not the best or equipped to be in a swf team lol nor do I enjoy swfs. I prefer playing solo survivor but, I’m not understanding the bloodpoint system.
How do I maximize my bloodpoints? I’m coming out with around 12k-18k on a good day. I love doing generators, so I do at least 3 gens. If I don’t do them, most of the time we don’t make it through the match so I dedicate myself to gens while the rest do their own thing. I at least try to get 2 unhooks which I don’t mind and heal 2 of my survivors if they want the heal, I do suck at looping so about 80% of the time, I don’t escape the chase.
Should I change my gameplay and maybe concentrate on doing more healing/unhooking? Cleansing totems/opening more chests? Should I learn how to loop killers more and escape the chase? UGH, I find that stressful, it gives me anxiety lol.
I guess what I’m asking is how do I maximize to get the most bloodpoints? I don’t care about escaping the match, I’m okay with losing the match as long as it was fun and I come out with decent bloodpoints but that’s totally NOT happening lol.
What I’m noticing is that those who do the least number of gens or work get the most bloodpoints. Sometimes, I run bond/empathy and I see what’s going on and I’m confused about exactly ######### they’re doing right that I’m doing wrong… Is doing gens not the goal here? I’m really confused. Please unconfuse me.
Here's an example of the last game I just ran, it was a short one, the killer wasn't the best so we pretty much did all the gens quickly and I didn't interact with the killer, only once but I escaped the chase.
Objective: 6102
Survival: 7100 (I escaped)
Altruism: 1818
Boldness: 1923
See you in the fog doing gens!
