Do survivors not loop anymore?

I like looping and I know pre-dropping and holding W is boring but I also know that it is very effective in some scenarios.
For example, if I'm playing against a Nemesis and have enough time to pre-drop before he can hit me over the pallet with his whip, I might pre-drop - ESPECIALLY if he's still in tier 1. Think of it like avoiding giving an Oni his power. As long as Nemesis is tier 1, he still has to break pallets like an M1 killer and his whip doesn't have much reach so pre-dropping is very effective.
Once a Nemesis has closed the distance around a loop and I can no longer pre-drop safely, it's almost simply up to HIM to miss his whip. I can play my best and could still avoid it, - but I'm not in so much control of the outcome now, he is.
TLDR; Sometimes, for many different reasons and scenarios, it is simply the best thing to do.

Looping isn't meta. Pre-dropping pallets and running to the next tile is the safest and easiest way to play.

I only really play wesker, but they still hold w

That's what happens when they shift the design of killers so that looping isn't as viable. It's a shame.

Sounds like a not playing blight issue. They can hold w and pre throw but those pallets will be gone before they know it. You either loop me or die, that is why blight is the peak of this game.

As killer I still see plenty of looping survs. And when I'm playing surv I try to loop depending on which killer I'm against. Try to loop a good doctor or artist and you're cruisin' for a bruisin'
