As far as I understand the number of searches is always 12 and it is distributed among all traps.

Then 2 traps from Amanda's Letter should have 6 each?

ِِAnd what about addons for an additional trap?

    Are you sure about that? I think they stated it’s individually and independent per trap and theoretically all traps in a match can be deactivated on first search?

    or am i not understanding your question/statement correctly?
