A way to mitigate auto dead hard script
What if you add some startup frames to dead hard. For example pressing the active ability button you will dash and 0.2 seconds into the dash you get the 0.5 seconds endurance.
That will probably remove any kind of scripting abuse as no matter how fast a script can react it can't predict the future like a human could
A lot of games with parry type abilities use this so it might be a relative simple solution

I like this idea. Scripture are very hard to spot but there’s definitely a lot of them in the wild

Sounds like it could work, and could be relatively quick to test.
While also making it more about predicting when the Killer will swing even when not being a script.
(As I kinda assume that DH is validated more in the survivors favor at the moment.)

Might want to refund or only apply Exhaustion once the Endurance kicks in though, so you don’t get Exhausted on the ground.
