I think only BHVR can truly answer my BP incentive coding question
We all know that when you log in to play, sometimes there are bloodpoint bonuses for a certain role. This is to encourage more players to choose that role, which will help shorten queue times.
But let's say when you logged in, there weren't any bonuses, and you chose your given role. You play a few matches, and in the meantime, the role you're playing now offers a bloodpoint bonus. When you rejoin the queue lobby, will you now automatically get those bonuses the next time you play? Or is there a coding oversight and that bloodpoint bonus only goes to new players who logged in after the blood point bonus was in effect? Do you have to back out of the lobby, go back to main menu, and then select your role to get the incentive bonus?

It's not based on when you log in, it's based on when you enter the lobby. However, the bonus may only appear visually when you enter the lobby from the main menu, not necessarily when you re-enter after leaving the previous game. It's possible to receive the bonus without seeing the +100% in the bottom corner this way.
That said, I'm sure there's still a whole host of bugs and exceptions, but this is how it's understood to work currently.

This is correct!

Just to clarify, I know it's not based on when you log in. But my focus was on what you said, the part about how the bonus may only visually appear if you enter from the main menu and not necessarily post-game. So let's say it doesn't appear, do we know for certain that you are receiving the bonus at your next game? Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. The only way I could test that is if I played alone (with no bonus) and then with friends, who joined late and would have the bonus, and then we compare after a match.

Thanks!
So you're positive the bloodpoint bonus will still be applied even if it is not visually shown in your lobby?

It should be showing; if it is availble for your lobby, you will see it in the lobby.
