The survivor bots sure are something
They feel too much like AI, like if they were used to teach new players how to play they would get the wrong idea so fast because the survivor bots have no idea on what to do when they get into a chase, unless its a high wall in which they know your exact location at all times
Besides that, I really feel like the AI needs to be improved, I also feel like they should be able to bring perks into trials among other things

Do you think BHVR has human brains in jars connected to servers to run these?

i’d expect AI to actually know whats going on atleast, the amount of times i’ve watched the bots get stuck on random things or avoid every nearby pallet to resort to a Z-Wall is something that should be studied

The bots AI definitely needs improved. I can't count how many times they've gotten stuck on things, running into walls, continuously vaulting windows next to a hooked survivor, not bothering to save anyone.
Also agree on bots bringing perks. Maybe you could choose which perks they use so you can learn how to counter certain ones.

Just be nice to also have a randomizer for the bots and their Perks etc. Im.glsd we have them to practice with, because for so long you couldn't go into custom match without a friend invited to play Survivor. I'll take this meager offering over nothing.
Ultimately I'd like for BHVR to improve the AI, let them have Perks and as a failsafe waaaay down the line, if and when DBD is dead & you can't play online anymore...to let there be a solo and let Trophies and Challenges/Tomes be achievable from playing against bots. Because honestly I do not want DBD to "brick" and one day be fully unplayable.

more than sure that the AI is better than at least 30% of the survivors that I met in soloq

At least bot are not stupid to tbag the Deathslinger near a window ( you have no idea how many time i have seen this )

I don't know, they teabag when they want heals and act goofy in general. Just like real solo q survivors.
