New obsession mechanic

Obsession is actually kinda boring and grants nothing to the game so here's some ideas how to make it more interesting. It will come for new tactics for survivors and killers.

SYSTEM CHANGES:

  1. Obsession has permamently increased Altruistic Healing speed and unhooking other survivors by 25%.
  2. Obsession starts the game with 5% Haste status effect for next 12 seconds
  3. Obsession can regenerate Exhausted status effect while running with 15% effectiveness.
  4. Obsession has increased Endurance status effect to 8 seconds after being unhooked.
  5. Obsession's recovery and movement speed during Dying state is reduced by 10%
  6. Obsession has reduced time per each state on the hook to 50 seconds. ( instead of 60 )
  7. Obsession can be changed during game by certain perks, but once dead it is no longer avaliable.

PERK CHANGES:

SURVIVOR:

Decisive Strike: While being obsession perk is always avaliable but can be triggered only once.

Dead Hard:

Obsession: Unchanged

Not obsession: While injured grants 10% Haste for 1.5 seconds. Causes exhaustion for 70/65/60 seconds.

For the People:

Obsession: While fully healed, after 1 second of performing a Healing action you can press the ability button to instantly heal 1 health state and makes you injured. In addition grants you both Endurance for 2/3/4 seconds. Perk can be triggered only once.

Not obsession: While fully healed, after 5 seconds performing a healing action press the ability button to trade one health state. Perk can be triggered only once. After using you become the Obsession.

Object of Obsession:

If no other survivors run this perk, it makes you Obsession.

Obsession: Your aura is revealed to the killer every 25 seconds for 3 seconds. Whenever killer reads your aura, his aura is revealed to you as well. Whenever killer reads your aura, your buffs to healing and unhooking others are increased to 29/31/33 %. This effect remains for 2 seconds.

Not Obsession: Perk grants nothing. Stunning the killer makes you Obsession.

KILLER PERKS:

Dying Light: REMOVED the bonus action speed for unhooking and healing to Obsession's basekit. Each token decreases Obsession's bonus Healing and Unhooking speed by 1%. Hooking the Obsession decreases amount of tokens by 1.

Furtive Chase: Hooking the Obsession grants killer up to 4 stacks. Perk deactivates when the Obsession dies. When survivor rescuces the Obsession from the Hook that survivor will become new Obsession

1 stack: Killer's terror radius is permamently reduced by 2 meters.

2 stacks: Killer's terror radius is permamently reduced by 3 meters instead.

3 stacks: Killer's terror radius is permamently reduced by 4 meters instead and the Obsession cannot read your aura

4 stacks: Killer's terror radius is permamently reduced by 4 meters and all survivors are unable to read your aura.

Grim Embrace: Hooking the Obsession blocks most progressed generator for 20 seconds and reveals all survivors' aura within 15 meters of that gen. Killing the Obsession causes all gens to explode reducing their progress by 10% each. Hooking survivor who is not the Obsession grants you stack. Upon reaching 3 stacks reveals all survivors' aura and blocks all gens for 15 seconds.

    Too excessive.

The Obsession exists purely for Obsession perks.

There's no need to make it a basekit mechanic.

It was only added to every game because without an Obsession, players would know there were no Obsession perks in play, which includes Decisive Strike, a perk that works as a deterrent.

All those changes at once is excessive and the effects themselves are stat sticks on existing actions.

Ironically they also have no immediate interaction with the Killer whatsoever.

I’s suggest workshopping an effect that’s one sentence, eg: The Killer and The Obsession see each others Aura after every Hook or completed Generator for 4s.
