Buff Deliverance

If I have deliverance activated and it's my first hook when I'm the last survivor, let me escape the hook, it's not fair to die instantly.

    I agree. It's harsh just to be killed on first hook instantly as last survivor. At least let me attempt an escape!

    I don't mind the idea, but Deliverance is already nutty butties strong in SWFs.

    The reason a survivor sacrifices instantly, is that there's almost no way for them to win in that situation - it's better to just let everyone move to the next game.

    I'm not a fan of this idea. The reason the last survivor dies without even being able to try and escape is because even if they did escape, it's just drawing a lost game out even more. The only way the surivor would be able to really escape in this scenario is if the exit gates are already powered and they use their basekit BT to guarentee an easy escape, which is unfair for the killer to lose that kill solely because you kobed or because you had Deli.

    Also Deli is already a really strong perk that doesn't need a buff.

    If you had deliverance available, you should have used it before you were the last survivor to buy your team some time to not die.

    I think it would unnecessarily prolong the game. The killer would know you have the perk when you don't get sacrificed immediately, and they wouldn't be far away regardless, so losing them would be an extremely rare occurrence. Your only real option would be to find hatch before they mow you down, but hatch is only a mechanic to ensure the game ends. It's a neutral escape that doesnt count towards your MMR. So I can't see them removing an endgame mechanic (instand death when last alive is hooked) just for a slim chance at activating another endgame mechanic (hatch).

    It's a perk best used early in the game to give your team a bit of extra time on gens by removing the need for someone to come get you.

  • The only buff it needs is to be on the new HUD so it can be communicated to SoloQ the same way SWF uses it and have their teammates not worry about the save.
