Broken AF Game
I give most of the bugs and bugs in this game a pass, but this recent one was stupid to contend with. I'm playing killer as Blight and still learning to play him. This Dwight with a laggy internet connection is identified using the red marker beside the players' names. Now, I go to grab Dwight off gen, and my character freezes for a good minute; all the while, his character keeps working on the gen. Finally, Dwight goes limp and enters the dying state. Of course, I could not pressure gens through this time, so two of them popped, and the game was over. I've heard of similar issues; why hasn't it been fixed? It's fudged to have to contend with.

I'm not even sure there is an easy fix for this. It's a latency issue after all.

I dont think that this can be fixed. You will encounter players who have high Ping, because there are not that many Servers. So some players will have to connect to a Server further away, which results in high Ping.

Okay, that's all fine that great until it leads to being stunned, effectively, for a whole friggin minute.

If it's a min they are lag switching I would say. This has happened to me once in all my time playing dbd and I had to DC back then.

You should try this from a survivors side against a laggy killer. You fast vault into lithe get 8 steps from a window and get downed. It's just the way the game is since hitreg etc is client not server sided.

Here's a fix, don't let them play. 150+ ping? Play something else.

This won't happen unless they fix the DDOS issue so then VPN usage can be blocked.

Not really.
The game was Peer 2 Peer before and you cannot just prevent people from playing, just because they use Amazon Game Servers which are not available in some regions of the planet.
Would also be bad with new players. "Oh, you live in X? No Servers around? Sadly you wont be able to play this game!".

they could group the high ping people on an extra server together
