[PS5] Adept Knight trophy not unlocking

Im pretty annoyed as its not easy to unlock this trophy as the knight isnt an easy killer. Anyways i managed to get merciless kills twice and the trophy hasnt unlocked. My friend unlocked it before the most recent update so im assuming its due to the update.
