Is Nurse unplayable on Console?

she reminds me of prebuff wraith in how easy she is to be bullied. I remember Marth doing a controller challenge and even he had problems playing her.

No she is playable she just takes a stupidly high amount of skill.

She is playable, I seen some very skilled Nurses on PS4. It just has a much steeper learning curve than on PC and honestly, I do not have the patience to put in the time to learn her.

Considering the ######### ass fps and the low ass sensitivity, she is basically hardcore mode.

    Yes, unless you hate yourself.
Lack of actual controller sensitivity mixed with horrible FPS makes it even harder to learn than on PC.

There are some with the dedication to actually go through the 9 circles of hell and sacrifice their first born to make her work for them, but it's very few and far between.

Wouldn't you have to give up rest of killers to play top tier nurse on console. XD
I will continue playing them all and suck at nurse and only get a 4k game when there selfish. When they already have beaten my ass as nurse.

She is playable but the skill cap for her is made way higher due to restrictions for console play.  I've gotten near 3k as her but half the time its potato Survivors or dumb luck, to really be good with her takes quite a bit of dedication on practicing her.

I like her, but for me personally, not really interested in going that far for her.  With framerate issues, snap blink movements being way harder to pull off that PC allows, makes it quite the hill to climb

She is playable on most maps. Some like Lery's and Haddonfield give really bad frame drops and it's harder there. But I can play as Nurse on Xbox and 4k pretty consistently without Ruin or BBQ.

I'm willing to bet Marth did bad because he just sucks with a controller. If you are used to m/kb for every FPS game you play, yea a controller will seem like a Rubix cube. I've been playing console shooters since the 90's. I'm used to a controller and I found Nurse's blinks to be mechanically quite easy.. The hard part is actually understanding how to read survivors and knowing where to blink more than how to blink.

I've been told my Nurse is terrifying to play against, and that my tracking is "insane". Shadowborn + Stridor = you won't get away from me.

would a rework benefit her or just a instant 360 button on console?

Actually it is a good perk IF YOU HAVE EARS. I play with a 5.1 headset, I can pinpoint a survivor just by hearing the cries of pain. And on Nurse/Huntress you can literally snipe survivors through corn, which is very scary thing to go against. Imagine running into the corn, barely hearing lullaby, and having hatchets wizz right past you, if they miss it's only by inches. Stridor can also beat those annoying p3 Clauds that just hide right next to you. You hear a very distinct "GASP" and it's directional, now you found them.

But if you already suck as killer Stridor won't help you ;)

About a week ago just before rank reset i played against a god nurse on console (rank 6)

We were only able to do 1 gen, the rest of the match was us running or unhooking other survivors.

I think the problem of nurse on consoles is that the sensitivity is way too low, you just have to adjust it on settings to play better.

Stridor has a direct counter though, Iron Will. When I run Iron Will/Calm Spirit/Quick and Quiet combo on my Claudette, I’m basically a ninja. She doesn’t make a single sound. Not saying Stridor is a bad perk but it has counterplay to it.

It is very rare to find a good Nurse on console and when I do see one I am very impressed and I get fooled that she is playable but then remind myself that she was the first good Nurse in an extremely long time. I've said it before and I will say it again, I got the 4 Survivors escape through the Hatch trophy against a Nurse.

Actually it's the other way around. Stridor counters IW, because you can hear someone with IW at 8-10m. And I recently discovered that you can tell a killer has Stridor if you run IW because you will hear yourself cry in pain. I used to think it was just changing the volume for killer but it actually changes the volume for everyone.

    yes.
low fps combined with analogue stick controls makes her garbage on console.

she's stupid OP on PC though..so there's that at least.

As said before, Stridor can be a very good perk if you have a decent set of headphones.

If you play on your ten year old 28" TV, you might want to use something else.

I have played against a very good nurse on console two days ago. She was only using bitter murmur 1 and Nurses Calling 1 but still got a 4K (It was on The Game). The Name of the nurse was "Goth_Boy".

Putting it simply. Have never died to a nurse who isn't 100% using KB + M playing on PS4.
