You know, those days that make you go 'okay, I'm done with this game forever'?

Yup. It's story time.

Finally get back to 4 pips on my Gold tier (really, really hard sometimes).

Get queued in and it's a Wraith (yay!) with Sloppy/Fearmonger/Surge/PR (no idea on addons, one was the iri Coxcomb).

We start, a survivor gets grabbed off their gen in about 15 seconds and immediately DCs.

Ugh.

But...somehow, we turned it around.

All solos, but we split up, bodyblocked, sabod, saved, healed, looped and did our level best - and somehow, we were at 1 gen left with all of us on either 1 or 2 hook states. Just a streetfight of a game. I'm confident in saying it was one of the best matches I've ever played out personally.

I hear Wraith murmuring, lead him to shack, pallet stun him.

He circles around. I vault out - then slow vault back in. I see him confused and, the final gen just popping, I vault back out - a fast one now, proccing Lithe. Okay boy, let's go....NOPE. Game crashes.

'Security Violation Detected'.

So...blap. Never seen that before.

I depip. And I have to resist the urge to go running through the house swinging my mouse like a flail of doom.

Next game: 'Okay, I know I can do it now, let me go in with all cylinders firing'.

Bye bye another pip. Not sure how it happened, but we had a Feng completely AFK from the start, gets crows, gets hooked, someone tries to unhook her, killer (absolutely bonkers Wesker) hook grabs, hooks him, downs Feng again and proceeds to bleed the rest of us out.

Worse yet, the Meg is almost completely new, I've got...maybe 200ish hours on survivor - and the I check the killer's profile: 7,900 hours.

Postgame...oh man.

Okay. I need to give survivor a break or I'm going to attempt to explode the entire internet on general principle.

Rough games. 😔 been same here tbh. I reached my boiling point last night and had to stop for the night. 5 games in a row, with 2 of my swf buddies. All 3/4k hatch games. 1 skilled killer stomped us fair enough, mad good blight player. Followed by 2 hook camping tunnelers.

Then 1 of the most sweat, toxic wraiths I've ever had the displeasure of seening. RPD offering, Super action speed and aura read while stealthed add ons. Stealth camped every hook and actively tunneled, constant bm, slugged me to catch our last teammate, bodyblocked her in a corner for over a minute. Only hooked her to come and get me because I almost bled out. We didn't even bring any torches. Hope they step on lego irl.

Last game we had a nemi on eyrie. And our one random teammate decides to DC on first down. I just lose my patience at this point and walk up to nemi and offer him my tool box in the hope of getting a farming game since some little snot ragequit 2 mins into the game. Knocked flat on my face, slapped on hook and hit on hook for good measure. Put down my controller. We all went offline and I sat and fished on VR to relax.

Thankfully my games today were more fun. But then I was playing killer. And I don't sweat killer hard, loving the Knight's buffs. Lot of fun to play

Yeah. I'm not going to say which streamer did it, but they not only did the exploit to avoid AFK crows to stall games out for ages (hiding for hatch as part of some jokey streak) but he also went on record to his thousands of viewers that BHVR do not care about it and that reporting it does nothing.

I don't think they're a Fog Whisperer, but still. Big name.

Ugh ugh ugh.

Seeing it more and more on killer - twice today and twice yesterday. Just survivors who think it's funny to try and make killers DC by basically taking the match hostage.

They really need to fix the stupid exploit to avoid the crows. Dropping your item and picking it up should not clear them, neither should briefly touching a totem.
