Ps4- Knight's Guard pallet breaks don't count for Spirit Fury

So I was trying to do a spirit fury enduring build on knight, but I was surprised to find out that pallets broken by my guards weren't counting toward spirit fury anymore, which I'm pretty sure shouldn't be the case
How to recreate the issue:
Step one: equip spirit fury on knight
Step two: use a guard to break a pallet
Step three: you'll notice spirit fury won't gain any charges at all

Perks played: Spirit fury, enduring, jolt/surge, Pain resonance
Map: The Game
Frequency of the issue: constant
