Why do you hate BHVR?

I'm going to close this here, because this thread is not something I find in good taste and does lead to a lot of misconceptions.

I will say one thing on the cheating issue - we made it very clear this is an ongoing investigation, we close a vulnerability, something else is found, we work to close that, something else is found, it is an ongoing issue that all online games have. We also cannot give too much detail on this as then we'd be in the position of giving the wrong people the information. We did give numbers on the players that were banned in 2022 in our January 2023 Dev Update, but we're not currently able to share what further action we're doing to prevent cheats, the nature of that work is pretty secretive i'm afraid for reasons I've mentioned above.

The Developers work incredibly hard at this game, it's a Live game where there's a lot of changes and a lot of updates and new content that comes very regularly to the game. The joys of a live game is that sometimes things can go wrong and sometimes decisions can be made that you might not personally agree with - most of those are to do with live balance changes etc. These things will always change, there's always updates being done and the Design team is constantly looking at balance changes, addon changes, perk updates etc. This is a big game, with a lot of moving parts and things do take time.

I'm not going to tell you to not hate, but I will say - hate is a super harsh emotion and probably not one that should be held towards people who make video games. The team put a lot of love, passion and hard work into this game - the whole team, and threads like this really does a massive disservice to all those people.
