New Game Mode in Each Events

Do you want the devs to implement new game mode during each events as oppose to cosmetic only?

For example, Hide and Seek, Props Hunt, Scavenger Hunt, Survivor And Killer Role Switch etc

During Overwatch 1, I have played alot of variety of events which were really good.

The thing is should they divide the manpower to do it or not?

    I would love if they did event specific game modes. People have been hoping for more game modes for the last 7 years this game has been a thing, but for bhvr it's a matter of splitting the queues that they're worried about. Honestly would people complain if the main game mode during a special event like Halloween or Winter event were replaced with a new game mode completely for the duration of the event? Wouldn't hurt to try.

    Obviously splitting queues might be a concern but I don't think the idea can't work. It would be nice to be able to focus on event content in matches geared towards said content from the start, instead of this awkward thing we have now where you have some players who are throwing the match to complete the event, some players who are already finished the event, some players who don't care at all and want to ignore it completely..

    I'd also like more game varieties, even if they weren't tied to events, but I don't think it is very doable. It is hard enough to balance DBD as it is with one game mode. In most multiplayer games if something is overpowered in a game mode, well it's overpowered for both sides. Wouldn't work that well for DBD.

    Pfffft, the devs break the game with every semi major update and you want them to create full alternative game modes 😂
