Dead Hard Basically Unusable Above 50 Ping

It’s just very much a bummer that console players or anyone with less-than-perfect internet speed can’t use this (frankly still very good!) perk. The killer won’t even be in the swinging animation, yet pressing dead hard will still send you straight to the ground regardless. It reminds me of the “exhausted on the ground” days of the old dead hard. It would be really great if the window for dead hard was increased to 0.75 to account for latency issues.

    My problem is only when the killer is laggy and doesn't work rather than because of your own ping. They should really reimplement DH validation because I'm pretty sure it got removed in the rework. Against laggy killers I will frequently get downed well into the DH animation.
