My problem with deadhard

i've always had a problem with deadhard thinking it was too easy to use but never looked into the why is it easy to me and after spending literally a minute internalizing it i realized it is in certain contexts and that my problem is it's interactions with certain killer powers, things like nemi zombies and knight's guards because when i see this
the survivors see this
im fine with m1 mind games but i feel certain killer powers like guards should ignore endurance
what do you all think?
is that a reasonable request or am i being unfair and is pressing DH into a guard for free speed balanced

DH is a problem cause of the "on-demand" press of a button
And subtle cheaters like scripting it to auto DH when the Killer swings

Make it only work on basic attacks.

cheating aside a good survivor with this can be devastating especially with a team of good survivors doing gens
imagine a skill check on a gen that was really hard to hit but if you did would give you 50% gen progress sounds op right? well that's deadhard expect it's "fair and balanced" now run stake out for guaranteed 50% skill check that's running into zombies and guards with DH

that's a good idea or a perk that allows basic attacks to ignore endurance
or power addons that ignore endurance

Not under the current situation, as those would also invalidate the anti-tunnel effects.

So the strongest killers don't get affected by it but the weaker ones still suffer? Nah. That's not a good idea.
They should completely rework the perk. A third health state on demand will always be problematic.

sounds like brand new parts except it is 25% instead of 50%.
yes m1 killers more then stronger killers. sounds good. maybe it makes more sense reverse way. ignores basic attacks and only works on special attacks.
