Question about Onryo's camera.

Quick question, while holding a survivor can the Onryo avoid a flashbang by looking up? It works on other killers but I tried it on her and I still got blinded. Maybe I'm boosted and wasn't looking up enough, which case clown me, but I remember the Hag having weird camera interactions from being short so maybe this is the same.
