Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Hi, I was wonder why Killer cannot see the hook tallies on survivors as of today? If a killer wants to tunnel, they don't need tally marks, they will know who they are tunneling and just focus them out. But for killers that play nice, or fair, it would be nice to know how many hooks you have on everyone so you don't accidentally kill someone on death hook.

If a killer is tunneling, the tallies would not benefit them at all, even in a game with 4 same skin survs, as the new chase HUD shows them precisely who they are after anyways. So even in a rare scenario, it wouldn't help mean/tunneling killers to tunnel, it only benefits us nice killers who try to get 2 hooks on all before we kill (if we decide to kill at all). Thanks in advance if you guys make this change. (Oh, the circular counter can stay or go with this change, I think it matters not anymore.)

Edit: Fixed a typo

I think because when killer tunnel, he probably unskilled, desperate and doesn't play smart, more of autopilot. No need to make it easier to him to tunnel.

Skilled killer know where everyone is, what they doing, he definetely knows how many hook stages each survivor has. That killer may do some tunneling in strategic way, not because of desperation or at 5 gen start.

Even a unskilled killer can tell who is who with the new Chase HUD. There's no reason to not give killers surv tallies nowadays, as all reasoning is null and void. They can tell who is who with the new chase HUD, and they likely know how many times they hooked that person. The number of times I've accidentally killed a survivor when I'm trying to 2 hook is annoying, and I often kill another survivor to punish them for confusing me. Like recently, I had a game where all were 2nd hook beside a Feng, but that feng went down near a Feng that was dead hook. I didn't realize until it was too late that I had killed the other Feng. So I killed the Feng I intended to hook originally for causing the death of their teammate. And just today, I killed a Steve for getting his Meg teammate killed by stealing her window. I had no idea she was dead hook. Idk if I hooked her twice of she hit second stage, I just know he got her killed, so I tunneled him to death for it.

It's just unnecessary. Both "nice" and "tunnelling" killers won't need it. The one thing I can think of is I have maybe sometimes I have had 2 left and death hooked someone accidentally and that opened hatch or whatever when I didn't want to.

Am I saying it shouldn't be a thing then. No, I'm neutral on that and just don't see a reason I guess.

I also play nice, and only kill toxic players. When a surv hits second stage and I don't notice, or I get tricked into picking up the wrong surv, it makes me sad.
