Infinite Pre-Match Lobby Loading Screen?

I am getting hit with back-to-back infinite loading screens when trying to load into a pre-match lobby. It doesn't go away, not even to give an error, and forces you to close the application. If I try with others they will load into the lobby with no issues but I get stuck with the black loading screen. I am on PS4, not sure about other platforms.
I've never seen an infinite loading screen trying to get into a pre-match lobby, I know this was an issue after the offering screen loading into the actual match not that long ago, never seen it like this. And it's happened every match I've tried now for the last hour, followed by the beloved campfire lobby bug.
