Disconnects due to Internet-loss - let me reconnect
Hey. Recently I'm sometimes experiencing Disconnects because the Internet in my region is used by a lot of people at the same time so there can be short losses of connection. ( itll be fixed in 7 months with a nodesplit from an engineer ). And the point is that it's really annoying that once i lost connection, i get maximum DC Penalty in DBD which is 30 minutes and dont have the option to reconnect to the game. Like sure, a disconnect is a disconnect and should be punished, i guess. But id like at least have the option to rejoin my game.

Your unstable internet connection is having a negative impact on the other players participating in the match. The penalty for your disconnection is a punishment for you, but it is also a safeguard for the other players. You need to be patient for a little while so that you do not immediately join the next match when your internet connection is unstable and cause the same result again.

Yea and if i could rejoin a match, it would be a positive impact not just for me but also for my teammates.

You are so selfish.
Isn't the reason you were disconnected because your internet connection is unstable? In the seconds or dozens of seconds leading up to your disconnection, other players were annoyed because of you. Let's say you were restored to the game. There is no guarantee that you will not disconnect again. Don't you understand that when you do it again, other players get fed up?
If my teammate had an unstable internet connection, I would never be happy to see him back in the game. I would be rather angry that he would try to participate in an online game in spite of such a situation.

its not really unstable. it just sometimes disconnects. there is no indication that it will happen again if it just happened. But glad you know about those technical things. If you rather play with 3 and be angry than you have some problems sir.

I think if they ever get the survivor bots to where they want them to be, they'll be a decent placeholder for you in games until you can rejoin, then perhaps there could also be a drop in option where you get say, 1000-5000 BP for joining a game mid match, but you never know what will be at the other end
If your internet flicks out and comes back instantly, or the error you had was possibly on the game end, if you rejoin and it works for the rest of the game I don't see why not

Now i got a 1 hour dc penalty. This is annoying. DC Penaltys werde made to prevent people from actively leaving matches and not to punish people for having internet issues. I could easily reconnect 5 seconds later cuz the Internet works again.

the weirdest thing about this is that you are sometimes also forced to DC as well, when a cheater is in the lobby.
