Palette drops not working

Hello! :)

I've already made a bug report regarding this. So regardless if I use my keyboard or my controller, which I've thoroughly tested both, and both work perfectly fine...however, when I go to drop a palette while being chased, it does not work. Is this just bad game design, a server issue or something?

It is not my hardware because I've tested it, used different keyboards and controllers, and yet I get the same result. Even my BF who has watched me play, says that this has only been an issue since the update where the Knight was introduced. What is going on? This is really aggravating. The button certainly works when I go to attempt a hook escape -_-

Another issue is I vault perfectly fine, and die, somehow, way too far from it. I have countless screenshots of it. Is this a server issue or something? My ping is perfect, I posted it on my bug report as well, it is always 30ms.

    While your ping might be visibly good, the problem might still be caused by your connection. Are you on wireless for example?

    though the hits after vaulting at least are very likely caused by a worse ping of your opponent, which kinda still gets prioritized for hit detection.. might of course also cause issues at pallets, but then you should still get the pallet drop but taking a hit as well

    Hello Mooks :) Oh no, I am not on wireless, I am connected with a wire and my internet is Verizon Fios.

    Yeah that's what gets me, I play all day sometimes and I am lucky if I manage to drop the palette while being chased, they always kill me as I am spamming the button :(
