Increase ban duration for teaming

It's getting out of control.

it's common knowledge that people do not know how to play dbd correctly and instead they project their personal IRL feelings into game decisions what leads to false decisions.

I can record games that I did progress to the game (gens) while everyone else dies one by another within 15-20 seconds. Everyone else just does unhooks. No progress. I decide to sneak and wait until it's over to increase my odds of surviving.

And there we go. They always team with the killer or the killer with the survivor.

Please increase the ban duration to at least 1 week, then 2 weeks, then maybe a month and then permanent.

I would also appreciate if you could communicate a change like this.

______________________________________________________________________

Discussion about the reasons for people teaming is not needed.

It's forbidden. That's a game rule.

If you choose to team with the killer just bc you don't like that person that's not a reason. If you have a problem with the game doing unbalanced matchmakings or changes to the base game use this forum to critize the devs for it. But do not blame people for making the mathematical right play according to the core game mechanics.

You do not have the right to team with the opposite team at all.

And no, no one is meaningly sneaking from the beginning of a match just to sandbag the team. Some people are scared (and yea, 30hrs people get matched with people about 12k hrs) and if the game can't be won by literal facts and someone tries to survive on it's own this game makes the right decision. DbD is not a 100% teamplay based game. The devs already communicated that Death.is.not.an.escape.

For something "out of control", I think I have witnessed a survivor rat out a teammate to a killer a number of times I can count on my fingers.

Or are you trying to call farm matches "teaming" ?

Or maybe just your teammates who using bond seeing you do nothing but crouching around while they are looping .

So they run to you hoping killer switch the target to you, then they might get the hatch

That last statement doesn't help your argument. I've seen and been in matches where people bring bond to sandbag and hide for hatch

Yeah its tough. I've had a teammate outright refuse to heal me immediately after I healed them. Situations like this give me no reason to want to help you anymore.

And for the record, it wasn't like a 5 second delay but it was a couple minutes of trying to get them to heal me

I think you want the game to die

The Death Is Not A Escape is referring to the Survivors trapped in the Entity's world of torment. If a Survivor does thier torment, suffering and lost of hope is fed to the Entity and then returned to the Campfire to wait the next Trial. Same goes for the ones who escape....when they open the gate and leave they can see the campfire in the distance and return to it to wait for the next Trial.

Some times what your perceiving as "teaming" is a farm Killer having fun with one or more Survivors....that not frowned upon. Or like others said....if I saw you hiding and crouching all match and see you yea I'll Kite the Killer to you hoping that they will change targets to you. What I hate more than teamers are Survivors that do nothing all match just to hope to get the hatch.

I won't deliberately point out any survivor to the Killer but I WILL run by while being chased.

I honestly haven't seen it in a while. I'm sure it happens, but is it really such a plague? When I play a killer acting like my little helper is a sure way to get face camped and tunneled out of the match. Banning people for two weeks seems a bit excessive though.
