Head On Stun Bug

Steam PC.
Using head on, I successfully stunned Wesker, however, I am then bugged back inside the locker after doing so. When I go to emerge (after successfully stunning) I am grabbed by the killer. This happened twice in the same game in two different lockers.
I did not try to go back inside the locker, I simply head on''ed him, and was then back inside the locker immediately.
The map was Crotus Penn Asylum.
