Is this paranoia or lack of game knowledge?

I like to switch up my builds a lot but currently on survivor I’ve been using Circle of Healing, Windows of Opportunity, Lithe and Wake Up.

About 2 weeks ago me and my friend (who’s a TTV) were playing against another TTV who was playing as The Knight. I was using the build mentioned above. The match seemed pretty standard in the sense that nothing particularly interesting happened. The Knight ended up getting a 1K and after I escaped and saw that it was another TTV, I went into their chat to say hello only to find them clicking onto my PS5 profile and calling me ‘sus’ and attempting to send me a message (my messages are set to friends-only) - so at this point I ask them what I did to be ‘sus’ as I was confused by that comment. They then proceeded to say I had speed hacks enabled which made me laugh, so I pointed out that I was using Lithe and they said they realise that but I still seemed too fast, but I don’t get how I did? Because other than Lithe, I would have been running at normal speed the entire match. I ended up watching the match back from their perspective and at no point did anything seem ‘sus’ and at no point did they comment on my gameplay. They did however call me a ‘dickhead’ at the end of the match when I used Lithe to get to an exit gate. So the speed hack comment that proceeded felt extremely left-field. Anyway, I laughed this off and continued playing with my friend.

Fast forward to last night, my friend is live on Twitch and after they finish playing killer they switch to survivor and I join them. I am again using the build I mentioned but this time we’re against an Onryō. She chases me for 2 gens and then when I’m unhooked proceeds to tunnel me, which is fine, I don’t care about that stuff. She downs me and then proceeds to hit me on hook over and over which I found funny. My team just stay on gens whilst she continues to camp. After I die on my second hook, I go into my friends stream to say “I’m not sure why she seemed so mad at me when nobody told her to only chase one person all game LOL” and straight after I say that somebody comes into my friends chat to @ me and say that the Onryō is their friend and that they tunnelled and camped me because I was using hacks and that it’s ‘cringe’ of me. I replied asking them to explain how I was using hacks and they didn’t say anything else. My friend then defended me and said that I don’t use hacks and that they’re not sure what their issue is. Again, radio silence.

This is now twice in the last 2 weeks I’ve been called a hacker whilst running this build and I have no idea why. I’m not sure if it’s because I am able to loop efficiently and get to windows and pallets easier, but that’s exactly what Windows of Opportunity is for?! Again, I am completely dumbfounded as to what I did ‘wrong’ in that match to have somebody think I was using hacks.

So that brings me to my question, are people just paranoid in this current age of DBD and seeing hacks where there aren’t any, or do some people just have a lack of game knowledge? I’ve played this game since 2017 and nothing I did was ‘sus’ in either of those matches.
