Spirits Directional Phasing Sound is bugged
When playing against the spirit, the directional phasing sound survivors can hear isn’t accurate anymore. It sounds like the spirit is approaching from all directions rather than from one direction. Makes it very confusing to play against this killer.
All platforms. I’d recommend listening to it with headphones to understand the issue.

This sounds like the same sound occlusion mechanic that deletes survivor footsteps, survivor noises, and boon noises, when there's no line of sight.
Killers have been dealing with this garbage sound occlusion for an extremely long time. Why should survivors get a free pass out of it? Sound occlusion should either be fixed for both sides, or it should cause both sides to suffer.

I would recommend to create a bug report if you find any bugs in dead by daylight. If players have the same issue like you, they will vote it up and the devs can take action.

This is how sound occlusion works in the game. BHVR purposely made a mechanic, that feels absolutely awful for killers, on purpose, for the sake of game balance. And now survivors get to share in this awfulness. The sound occlusion mechanic should be completely deleted from the game.
But if BHVR doesn't want to delete sound occlusion for killers, then I hope survivors are stuck with this sound occlusion too, so they can understand how frustrating this mechanic is.
