Gray Tier (Free) Killer Addons and Survivor Items

What do you all think about a new tier of items, Gray, that would be free to use and not found in the Bloodweb? Personally, I think we can convert say, 2 brown addons for each killer into Gray addons. They would mainly be BP booster/detrimental addons, and small "Quality of Life" addons. Such as Speed Limiter for Bubba and Billy, Chainsaw Oil, Junkyard Air Filter, etc.

Similarly, survivors would also get a Gray tier set of items. For example a 16 charge, +10% altruistic healing speed Medkit, or a 6 second duration Flashlight. Or maybe we could even make the lowest tier of rarity for each item become gray, and keep them the way they are today?

On the downside, this would make it so you'd pretty much see an item every match, even in lower level lobbies. But since you're pretty much expected to bring an item anyway, I think newer players would be happy to not have to spend any of the few items they have.

Alternatively, a shared item, addon and offering pool for survivors would pretty much make this change completely unnecessary.

Not a super interesting idea, but could be nice for new players that have fewer things unlocked. What do you think?
