PC - Disconnect with killer after interacting with killer's ability

This bug occured twice as far as I can remember, and both instances I remember interacting with a killer's ability. In this case, I was trying to lock a locker against a dredge, then I get disconnected. The weird thing is that the killer also gets disconnected, as I get to see their perks right away, even though it was the beginning of a match.

Was wondering if this was an issue of my own internet, a bug on the servers, or something that causes killer dcs to disconnect a survivor. Seems like an issue that's not fun for both the survivor and killer as the game ends I think? (Not sure whether or not the game continues on)
