Is it just me or like, all a survivor streamer needs to do to completely beat you all the time 100% of the time is pre-drop pallets and hold w?

I guess the occasional dead hard is the cherry on top.

    Some pallets are easy to play around. Like, even if they are down and can be used as a vault, a killer can go around and still hit the surv anyways. So no need to lose time to break it.

    then it also depends on your killer power and skill of course. Like, a good Pyramidhead may leave pallets unbroken so they can use their ranged attack during the survivors vault animation lock to guarantee a hit.

    The pallets you most often see broken without hesitation are the "Safe" pallets. Pallets when long wall or obstacle on one side or another. Killer shack is the most often seen example of this. Also the cow tree in Coldwind and similar. Barring specific killers that can play around them as noted above, you'll see these pallets broken quickly to get back into chase without leaving them there for survivors later

    Predropping pallets is an easy strategy that works against many killers, sure. But it doesn’t work against the whole roster and to some degree you can play around it

    also try survivor yourself and just predrop/hold W. It won’t work all of the time just doing that.

    I mean, used to play survivors with friends and it* was pretty much how we always won. that and gen rushes.

    when they stopped playing I felt like, you know what, I'm going to play killer now.

    Depends on the map on the killer. Cowshed and Borgo it will work.

    Do it on other maps against anyone who isn't Pig, Legion, or Sadako and you probably killed your team.

    So I often hear experienced killers that streams say they don't need to break certain pallets versus sometimes they break it after drop/stun without hesitation.


    how does one determines that?

    depends on the map and tile rng, if you try to comp drop in shelter woods you're gonna have a bad time but if you really can just drop loads of pallets on something like badham
