My "fair" nerf to CoH.

- Reduce self-healing rate to 40%(from 50%) and it cannot be stacked, at all.
- If the user gets hooked, his boon will be snuffed. Yes, if you running CoH, your boon will snuffed, not using CoH will prevent that.

It's actually at 75%, not 50% healing since the healing boost it gives affects the self heal itself
If this were to be fixed I think it would fix a lot of people's issues with it

That makes a lot of sense actually. I was running BK and SC, and it felt somewhat slow compared to solo boon.

No self healing at all, keep the speed on allies, show injured teammates auras when inside the boons radius to each other. I like the snuffing on hook part though.
Gives a reset point for the team and shows each other when someone needs a heal now.

I know this doesn't offer anything constructive to this, but...
In all seriousness, it's much better to just bring a medkit and smash gens, booning in general is just not worth the time.
Nerfing it further is just going to make it a meme like Self-Care was BEFORE it got nerfed again when it was already pretty bad.

My concern is the very last bit about the boon being snuffed on hook.
That falls into the issue I see all too often if "Nerfing Circle of Healing in a way that fails to account for the use of the other Boon perks"

Yep because while both CoH and Botany provide 50% bonus healing speed, CoH has a 50% penalty for self-healing and Self-Care’s is 65% (100% - 35%).
If CoH’s self-heal rate was 35%, and its healing speed bonus stayed at 50%, then self-healing in it would be the exact same as current SC + Botany (which is around 30.5 seconds, compared to SC alone which is 45.7).

IF you running CoH, totem will be snuffed. If not - you are safe.

That's not how it works... at all.
CoH has a 50% efficiency penalty, shared with pre nerf Self Care. However, it benefits from CoH's 50% buff, so 0.5x1.5 and we get 75%
So, 16/0.75 for a heal of 21.3 seconds.

Yeah, this is even proven by running Botany at tier 3 and COH at tier 3 vs COH at tier 2 or 1
When they are both at tier 3, you get a Grey bar when self healing in the boon but when you have COH at tier 2 or 1, you get a red bar despite the value for self healing not changing with tiers and ONLY changing the heal bonus

Yeah and fhat really accounts for its strength
If it was ACRUALLY 50% base healing like it was supposed to then it would be a lot less strong

That's my issue. It runs completely contrary to other boons for no real reason than "It's CoH"
