Dead hard should reworked COMPLETELY

i know that we have discussed ad nauseam regarding this perk, but seriously this perk needs to be reworked ASAP, it's EXTREMELY unhealthy for the game and i still see it in every lobby (3/4 survivors have it all the times). Eruption was changed for that reason too, so why not applying the same treatment to dead hard?

    I agree. Dead Hard is the most played, most strongest perk for Survivors. How many times it turned chase from ~40 seconds chase to ~80+ seconds chase. There are situtations where it is lose/lose for the killer and can't be "waited out". It's annoying to wait and suspect every single survivor that they have this perk. It counters many killers powers as well because they are predictible. It's unhealthy perk and only needs rework, because nerfing it in any meaningfull way would trow that perk into trash.

    And no, I don't think "once per trial" on this perk would make it fair. All you need is one good dead hard on each Survivor and it's gg for the Killer.

    Should be once per trial, at bare minimum to make it fair, then disabled for that trial

    Just as a point of info, Eruption was not the most used perk. It was not in the top four.

    It was nerfed because the counter play was too complicated.

    Dead hard though is the most used perk.

    It not being nerfed again despite its pick rate is likely related to its popularity.

    I kinda like it as it is now, I do not like the quickness with which gens can be completed( a related issue).

    Agreed, Dead Hard is still used too much even after getting "fixed" by bHVR.

    They need to redo the Endurance Effect. Change it into its two basic components.

    1. Braced - the ability to take a hit but get deep wound.
    2. . Flight - the Speed boost received normally after taking a hit or getting off the hook.

    Getting unhooked should give you Braced and Flight.

    Activating Dead Hard should only give you Braced.

    That way Dead Hard can still be used to save your life, but it wont be consequence free experience.

    this. Imo it needs to be COMPLETELY reworked from the ground since it's extremely unhealthy and obnoxious for the game
