100 percent Killer

I have really been noticing lately that when the Killers BP is at 100 percent. It is a camping and hard tunneling clinic. When its the other way around you get much more balanced killers is it just me?

Makes sense. If their bonus is 100% more killers are gonna log on to play and that includes the hard campers, tunneled etc. so you’ll likely get more of that

Maybe killers want use from that 100% bonus at least tunneling is effient for that as it counters gen rushing. Camping? I don't know maybe survivor mains playing killer? And they struggle to end chases quickly.

Not sure what is BHVR masterplan but they better pull out a rabbit from the hat because for the next 3 months this chapter alone might not carry enough to keep killers playing and the constant 100% might be a thing for killers more often.

The current meta is boring and the 3 gen gameplay even more. I don't blame killers for not playing the game for at least the next 3 months.. or the next perks changes.

More Killer incentives can also mean more of the relatively less experienced Killers to take advantage of the BP bonus. Tunneling and camping is easier to get sacrifices and they're still learning when it's a bad idea to tunnel and camp.

More experienced Killers are probably a greater portion of the pool when there aren't 100% Killer incentives as they enjoy Killer more and aren't playing just for BP. They have a better idea of when not to tunnel and camp, and if their MMR is significantly past the soft cap, don't need to tunnel and camp to win most of their games.

It's counter productive to camp and tunnel for BP but, since people look at the win condition, a lot of people don't realize that. Every survivor you start a chase with? BP. Every time you hit the power condition for Deviousness? BP. You get more BP from games that are longer and with more chases and, if the survivors escape, your MMR drops and you get easier games where it's easier to get more BP. If you're focused more on winning than BP, though, or don't realize what I just mentioned camping and tunneling makes it easier to secure a victory.

Tunneling and camping will always be around regardless of bonus bloodpoints you get or not.

it’s very efficient and effective to tunnel the survivor out of the match

honestly i think it's the other way around. the bonus BP follow whatever role is less played. if the bonus is 100% killer, it's because there are fewer killer players on

the reason i think it happens this way is the following: when the bonus is +100% BP for killers, the bonus is there because there are fewer killer players overall. When there are fewer killer players overall, that means the few people who bothered to play killer are people who are more dedicated to the killer role; people who are more likely to put in maximum effort while playing as killer. therefore, a higher percentage of the killer players are tryharding, and you are more likely to encounter one of those killers.

When the bp bonus is on your role, you are likely to get matched against players who are close to your mmr. I don't even play unless the bp bonus is on killer. At least in my experience. Or it's simply that only people trying hard to win are playing when bp bonuses are in the opposite role.

When the bonus is 100% on killer it's gonna attract people who don't normally play killer, and inexperienced killers will often tunnel and camp because it's easy.

Doesn't seem like a mystery to me.

Also, the bonus seems like it's 100% on killer like 90% of the time nowadays, at least in my region.

My guess would be that most of the chill killer left leading to a decrease in total killer population therefore the BP incentive on their side and majorly hard camper and tunneler being still there

Im a killer main, a terrible survivor - i play the heck out of survivor when the bonus is on.

My guess is the killers that are tunnelling/camping hard during the bp bonus are survivor mains that are trash killers. Especially the campers, that's not really the most effective strategy unless you're memeing with Bubba or trapper, and most killer mains know this.

"Well, I get extra BP if I play killer today, so Feng, you will be sidelined while I go tunnel and camp for several hours. I'll be back after I make a post about how much I hate it when killers tunnel and camp."

    Basically that.
