Seeing survivors behind objects after breaking door

I noticed recently that when I destroy doors, there is a millisecond where objects do not load in yet. So twice this has happened, and there were survivors trying to hide behind those objects that haven't loaded in for me. I use Brutal Strength most of the time; not if sure if that has anything to do with it.
