Better Dying Light (without tunneling 1 person)
I suggest buffing Dying Light, without necessarily sacrificing a player
- 1st hook first player gives - 5% penalty
- 2nd hook gives - 3% penalty
- Sacrifice/kill removes - 8% penalty
- Hooks two different survivors - 2% penalty
- 3 different survivors hanged - 3% penalty
- 4 different survivors - 4% penalty
Thus we get 15% penalty for the first hanging + 9% for 4 different survivors (we don’t get a penalty for obsession)
For hanging each survivor a second time, we get another 9% and a total of 33% of the penalty
It should also be added that stacking Dying Light reduces the Altruism action speed of the obsession, but not the repair speed, so that fully stacked stacks remove the obsession bonus.

Just combine Dying Light with Furtive Chase, the latter is useless anyway.
- Instead of gaining tokens from non-Obsessions, you gain a token every time you hook the Obsession.
- When the Obsession is rescued form the hook, the rescuer becomes the obsession.
This way you're focussing on different survivors, and are forced to not tunnel if you want value out of the perk. Each 'safe' survivor that gets rescued form the hook receives the repair penalty, so you want them on gens while you chase the new obsession.
