Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

If you're playing bad, you're not getting 2 minutes out of a dead hard.

Plus, solo/casual is a vast majority of the playerbase, meaning Eruption gets easy value in 80% of the matches (easy as in, you don't really have to do anything you wouldn't normally do and you'd still get value), while by the same rule, Dead Hard gets several hours of content for a "Dead Hard FAIL compilation" video with fart sounds and echoed "E" sound effects edited on top of it for those same 80% of matches. It's half a second of invincibility, and the slightest amount of lag can easily mess up the timing.

Focus on what's important: Don't get angry at new eruption not letting you rolfstomp solo players, get angry at new eruption not helping you catch up to premade groups' capabilities.

It depends on what killer you play and how good you do in a match of course. But it isn't uncommon. For me something like this happens in about 7/10 matches. I don't lose every single one of these matches but it puts me in quite a bad spot and often makes what should be a rather close game an easy 4 people escape.

1-2 minutes is a stretch. And DH actually has counters. However I do agree its probably a bit too strong and overused. I prefer SB because no matter what it always grants me value. Dead Hard can be a hit or miss perk.
