Pinhead can't look up or down after using his chains

Sometimes after I miss with my chains, my camera stays stuck looking straight forward, and I can't look up or down anymore. Pinhead's hand also becomes invisible.
I can still move around, use new chains, look left to right, etc. but my vertical viewing angle is stuck.
It can last a long time too, typically it only goes away if I get stunned by a pallet or if I grab a survivor.
