I give up on playing killer

Well, as I said I'm giving up on trying to play killer.

Today I played 5 matches as survivor and only got one match with actually good teammates, then, I switched to killer, went to play ghostface an when I got a lobby... There where 4 survivors with matching names, 1 of them being a prestige 100, another one being a prestige 66 and the other two prestige 20, surprise, surprise, they were absolutely sweaty and bullied me, I mean, I'm not the best killer in the world but, I didn't stand a chance against them.

In my 5 survivor matches the highest prestige of any of my teammates was a 19...

I feel that way sometimes but part of it has to be that you only remember the bad games not the good ones. Because I also have games were I dominate as killer and I do win most my games but I do sweat a lot. Recently though on survivor killers just tunnel first survivor they hook or at least try that at 4-5 gens left so obviously most of these games end as easy win for killers. Probably that's why they do it but I just hope games that both sides has equal chance. I think it's bit unneccary to tunnel agains't soloQ survivors who play casually. I myself try to identifyi if I need to tunnel or not as killer.

Oh, wait, what happened? Ain't it suppose to be so? And every killer player, that complain constantly about "survivor-sidedness" and fiercly protect tunneling and camping, desire to be only P100 SWF and Ayrin squads remain in DbD, because other casual players are literally can't do nothing? So everything is fine, I suppose, and be as intended.

The only thing you can do is keep playing and losing. Try to focus on something other than 'winning' in your games. For example, get a flashlight save, loop the killer for a while or try to improve against certain killers when you play survivor and try to mindgame strong tiles, learn a new killer, try something new with your main, run a meme build and try to make it work when you play killer.

You will lose a lot of games but eventually your MMR will adjust and your games should be a bit more chill. Something like that happens to me every few months to the extend where I just load into matches with the purpose of losing while still having fun. It's not ideal and I think MMR could work better but I feel like it's not as bad as it used to shortly after they introduced SBMM.

Im same as killer. You have control of the game in that roll. I only tend to tunnel if survs genrush or one annoys me in particular. But as surv if killer decides to tunnel you there's only so much you can do. Especially if you aren't a great chase runner.

I’ve felt this a lot before, and for me it helps look for and recognize smaller victories, like a good use of your power as killer or a clever play that you managed to pull off, or even just sticking it out and finishing the match when you were dealt a bad hand.

    Gilded, preferably.

As an aside, I think I saw you on scrim nights, I thought you played super well!

thanks man, I actually got bodied so hard haha.

It was an educational experience. Chat and Tofu helped out a lot in telling me what I did wrong, so I'm excited to have a chance to play again.

I was in scrim nights once, under a different name, just wanted to try it out.

Educational is a good word to use. I haven't gone back yet but I had a good time the first run through

feel free to hmu if you ever feel like making a survivor team. I have a playstation friend that is really into comp play, but it's been slow finding two more survivors.

Oh, you do NOT want me playing Survivor lmao, you'd be better off with three people than having me as a fourth

I appreciate the invite but Tofu would have a field day with me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Yeah I never got why a person would want to stay in a lobby of 4 Fengs with the exact same outfits and all items! I just leave!

Heck in survivor lobbies if I see twin Fengs I'm outta there bc that can only turn out bad (had bad experiences also) lol.

Either they're working together to sabotage the game or the killer is poised to hardcore tunnel, either way it most likely won't be a good experience!

Grades are not related to matchmaking, but I feel you. Try a less punishing killer to start, dodge tough looking lobbies, and feel free to close the game if people BM last second swap. Killer is quite fun when you get the hang of it.

Also ditch post game chat, waste of time.

The day I drastically reduced my time playing killer was when I got stunned at the same locker by each survivor right after each other.

A balanced game would have DR on stuns so something like that couldn't be possible. If killers could make it so survivors couldn't do anything at all it would get nerfed.

Welcome to what Hexy dubs the "Cannon Fodder" rank! Survivor teammates are useful only for feeding the 8k hour nurse's mmr whilst you killer is used to train and bully tourney players to HOPEFULLY keep them happy and spending on feet cosmetics!

Dw though we have cool jackets! Would you like a black or a brown one? 😎

I have somewhere around 3.5k hours in this game and my highest prestige is 16. It means nothing other than people pouring a ton of BP into one character. And BP is the easiest it's ever been to get.

You happened to come across 4 people who play well together. That sucks. And playing solo survivor you are handicapped. That sucks too. The matchmaking can be infuriating. No idea why the focus on everyone's prestige level, though.

Thank you for making the killer queues a little shorter.
