QoL? Killer raise hand to prevent Flashlight blinds
I still don’t get why killers need a perk for this.
Why can’t killers just raise their other, non-knife wielding arm or hand over their eyes and just suffer with a movement penalty?
There are spare buttons on consoles not assigned to actions I’m pretty sure (like square or triangle on PS) and plenty of available keys on PC.
Just a thought!

It's a game don't think that much into it, also that would make flashlights basically useless so I don't think they'd do that.

Sure, and survivors can get a jump action for when I can see a bear trap on the floor in front of me. And a climb action for hills and short loops.

I mean you can fake picking up a survivor to lure out the flashy-saver, get a free hit on them, and be done with it. You can literally look away to avoid it completely. Or use Franklin's 🤷

Like 90 percent of the times flashlights are a killer item

I mean having a killer who could do that as a secondary power would be funny. Along side just knocking back pallet drops and resetting it. Just a Kind of a chaser without some sort of teleport or speed increase.

Always wanted a killer to have a power that could negate flashlights. Knight could have used his shield for instance.
Pyramid Head and Wesker should be immune to flashlights imo.

Why don't killers just toss the gens over the trial's walls? They're clearly strong enough.

Huntress Just Shot Puts the gens over the wall with a single arm.

The same reason that Nemesis (who walks through friggin' walls) can be stopped in his tracks by a small table, some school chairs, or a pile of straw.

Making an entire feature redundant =/= a QoL improvement.

the flashlight is intended to work that way. QoL is meant for things that help improve the intended experience. Not to add new features that change the whole system.
for example: adding a blindness meter. or adding a target zone on the killer to aim for.

Look up or down or face a wall when picking up. It's not that hard?
Flashlights are already one of the riskiest and worst items for survivors to bring. Do you want more med-kits and toolboxes in your games?

Their non-knife wielding arm? You mean the arm holding the surv while carrying them? So they drop the surv instead, who scampers off, just to block the blinding? Either way the surv is freed.

Flashlights are weak enough as is. Giving killer a movement penalty to cover their eyes is a nerf compared to simply looking up or looking down.

Flashlights are far from being the worst items, they have the power to undo a chase, keys and maps are far weaker

Some more suggestions:
Killers should be able to move generators so they can camp them.
Survivors should be able to beat up and kill the Legion if more than 2 survivors are present.
Chris and David should have 4 hook states.
Killers should be able to break exit gate switches.
Survivors should be able to stack over walls and pull each over up to escape, but only 3/4 can make it.
Nemesis should 1-hit kill anyone he punches.
Survivors should be able to blind eachother with flashlights and should be able to down eachother with pallets.
Survivors should be able to jump.
Bubbas chainsaw should insta-kill.
Claudette should be able to equip a stealth cloak and become completely invisible in bushes.
Micheal should breathe louder.

True post, there should also be a button to not wipe your weapon after a hit, seems kinda pointless and the surv gains a lot of distance bevause of it.
