I should have given the Skull Merchant more credit.

I severely underestimated the changes they announced for her. I was still biased by my PTB experience. Is she strong now? No. Not by all means, however:

She can show her full potential on maps like Dead Dawg Saloon and The Game. These maps are so small that it allows her to cover most important places you will always be notified whenever they are targetting which gen. If you keep pressuring them they will run out of resources and will go down quicker. And I underestimated her exposed mechanic. On the two maps I mentioned they are often forced to stay at the tiles as they have often nowhere to go (edge map in the Game and the backside of Dead Dawg Saloon) and thus either giving me free hits or getting exposed. Combine her power with chase perks and you can actually get decently short chases. Just don't give them 3-gen areas too quickly (no I don't mean that you have to defend them to the bitter end, they should just not be the first gens that pop. If you see them getting targetted chase the survivors working on it. You don't have to play completely defensive) and you are good to go. She can be an ok killer on those maps and here is the issue:

She is insanely map dependant. Her power works on smaller maps as she is able to cover large areas. But on bigger maps that is simply not the case. The gens are far split and survivors can just hold w to the next loops and essentially countering her drones. On those maps she is terrible and she is forced to camp 3-gens in order to stand a chance. THis is a core issue of her power that needs to be fixed. That fix is simple: The bigger maps need to be smaller (their pallet density can be higher in exchange.)
