Holy balls SM does suck. a lot.
I can't commit to chases because power is only for zoning.
Can't protect gens because survivors ignore exposure and push gens while you carry someone.
Can't do anything about exposed status when there is even a sigle good tile.
What were you thinking?!
Her adept is impossible unless you get negative IQ survivors.

I woke up early to get her adept before survivors learned how to play against her, I player her for about 10 hours day 1 and tried multiple different builds. I think she's worse than trapper unless you're going to camp a 3 gen all game

Yep she is VERY weak on basic maps. But on the Game(Meat Plant) and any 2+ level structure her drones are ultra potent.
But that's it, on any other map she is VERY bad.
I got adept on yamaoka estate just because of survivors being too altruistic.

On the game her drones might be able to keep survivors exposed, but she can't do anything about it until she breaks 30 pallets and by then the game is over.

Or maybe.. the killer just doesn’t suit you at all but may be something others can play with? Don’t get me wrong, she does need adjustments, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. It’s more the general M1 hit problem and not specifically Skull merchant problem that most people complain about.

its not that hard to get a 4 K with decent map, RNG in your favor and good addons, sorry but if you are being remotely serious here this is a skill-issue.
there are plenty of casual players on both sides. Not everyone is only focusing on highest skill levels.

There is no skill involved with her, unless survivors play the worst and hand you hooks.

Yeah. Sure. It’s impossible to get M1 hits otherwise. And any survivor that gets hit by it in any way must have a negative IQ and should be completely disregarded.
sorry. But no. Skull merchant will struggle against great coordinated survs and you should give your actual criticism. But you don’t face those kind of survivors every match. No one does. Not even ‚highest MMR killer streamers‘.

I dunno, she's definitely a 3 gen killer and basically every Youtuber I've seen do funny videos on SM has directly or indirectly mentioned the 3 gen problem (Yerv) or her being weak (Spooks)
Like, the glaring problems in her design and power design are there and have all been brought up, she can't get value from her drones if she isn't there, so people lock down an area from the beginning, and just play in that area until Survivors throw themselves at the Killer to leave the match. People hated Eruption because of 3 gens, why make a weak Killer who needs that to do anything, and isn't fun for Survivors because they have to put up with something nearly uncounterable if the Killer dedicates to that 3 gen?
"She does need adjustments" is a massive understatement, she needs an entire rework, she's unhealthy for the game and weak like Legion.

I am not saying that this isn’t a problem or she isn’t weak/encourages the 3 gen a lot.
if ‚she does need adjustments‘ is an understatement that you think needs to be directly mentioned I wonder how you think about the OP? Adepts are impossible expect against survivors with negative IQ?
i just don’t see how this kind of feedback would be of any help at all.

Her power is "Apply exposed if someone stays in the BRIGHTLY LIT AREA too long", which no one is going to do unless they're inkured.
The only skill is keeping the three gens you decided to defend untouched.
At least Trapper can guess where someone is going to go. At least Twins can switch between two places.
I never thought I'd praise him in any capacity, but at least Knight can potentially down people with his ability alone.

I think it's clear after this many years that every killer needs to be able to do something real when chasing.
