Perks that are bad but are so satisfying when they work
Played a couple of games with Coup de Graçe on Skull Merchant to try stuff out.
And while i think most would agree that Coup is a sub par perk, when it works its so satisfying
A lot of the survivors i face know at what range you can lunge and if you lunge early on pallets they don't bother throwing it down or dead harding cause they know you normally won't hit them.
Getting a hit or down anyway in that situation is so damn satisfying. Not many perks make me as excitted as hitting a lunge i wouldn't have otherwise with coup
Do you good people have some guilty pleasures in bad perks that just hit that sweet spot when they do work?

Autodidact. I like this perk, sometimes I use it but its very rare to see it shine when you allready have 4+ tokens. I usualy get the tokens right after I finish healing someone and then it doesn't get use or you not get any skill checks lol.

Walk some tiles and hear just behind me someone screaming because iron maiden.

So much this. I run Autodidact a lot, and it's like - 70% nothing at all, 15% completely clutches the match, and 15% directly screws over your team by giving the first skillcheck at the worst time. But at the same time, you have no better friend against Sloppy, Thana Legion, or Coulrophobia.
I also really like Iron Maiden on Artist because no, it's not reliable in the slightest, but the neuron activation when someone's clever enough to jump into a locker only to realize it was all according to keikaku is sublime.

Unnerving Presence for sure.

Fire up because it can mess up flashlight timing if at 4 stacks

Diversion for me. It rarely works bur when it does and I see the killer check the locker I always have a laugh

Mettle of Man, baby! Used it while doing some BP grinding as it was the only "become the Obsession" perk I had in hand on that character at the time and went on to get it to work in the match. It's been a favorite ever since.
Also, more recently, Smash Hit. I used it when I had a "snack Killer with pallets" challenge and it's definitely a fun one to make work.

Not using a perk... but opening up a random locker and finding a Survivor

Blood Warden and Oppression are my boys!!!
BW commonly never even comes into play so many games, I'm just playing with three perks. But when you 4K a bully squad that got a little too close to the sun at the EGC...
Oppression I just really like even though there are better gen kick perks but can be super handy against a team not paying close attention
On survivor, even though it's just kind of a bad perk, I still like to run Blast Mine. Just a perk that you "build" to is kind of fun to me

Only if you are within 18 (or 19) meters now.

Power Struggle. I only got it to work once as the last survivor standing, killer was impressed enough that they gave me the hatch because of it.

Mad Grit !! I once had 3 down because of it, and it was glorious.
Arguably, DH. As in Devour Hope of course. It gets cleansed early a bit too often, but is extremely satisfying to get moris with when you get lucky.

Monstrous shrine, it's probably even worse than before the rework.
But a very small handful of killers with area control or map wide wallhack addons can actually zone people away long enough for it to get some kills / second stages you would not normally get otherwise

Dead Hard.

Mad grit, I absolutely love it when I'm doing bad in a game and 3 survivors try to bodyblock me from hooking someone and I win the game because of their stupidity. Also overcharge, that failed skill check after I kick the gen and leave is just music to my ears.

Lightborn. Especially when I can't be bothered to play around flashlights. It's so funny when you can make a survivor question their sanity after failing to blind you multiple times.
