I think the Dredge could use a few small buffs
The dredge is already a decent killer, however, his power can be pretty map dependent when it comes to locker placement, which I hope gets changed at some point so they're aren't any locker dead zones.
Another thing is his ambient sound, he makes a BUNCH of noise, which already hinders his soft stealth mechanic during nightfall, but also hinders him during chase as you are able to pinpoint where he is or where he is going based on his sound alone if you listen closely, making mind games a bit harder to pull off.
While the previous 2 suggestions I think are perfectly fair changes to make, this suggestion I think is more up for debate, as it could drastically change his performance depending on how it goes. But long story short I think his remnant power could use a buff.
I don't know how it could be done without making him hard to read or too strong, but the best counter to his ability is to run to another loop, which is stupid easy if you aren't in a dead zone since the Dredge suffers a speed penalty when he uses his power, plus it makes a pretty audible sound cue to let survivors know he is using it, this can make chases last way longer and makes his remnant useless when loops are next to each other.
The only time you really get value is when you are looping someone in the corner of a map or they're aren't any tiles nearby for them to run to. Now I don't how this can be changed to make it better without going overboard, but maybe his speed penalty could be removed, or perhaps keep the speed penalty, but make the audio cue when he places his remnant less audible, but still just loud enough to be picked up by survivors if they are close enough or are paying attention to sound.
Thoughts? Do you think any of these changes are necessary? or maybe you have some suggestions of your own? I'd like to hear what any might have to say about this.
