DBD - Fan Chapter One: Fires of Deception

(At first, trust is a hard concept to create in others but once it is obtained, it is an unbreakable weapon against all odds. But trust is a double edged blade, it cuts deeper when it is broken and can never be fixed.)

The Betrayer - Difficulty: Medium

A hope destroying killer, able to break the survivors spirit of survival, chasing them down and causing them to question their loyalty with his power: Eternal Damnation.

His teachable perks; Broken Soul, Scourge: Molten Loyalty and Hex: Blissful Destruction allows him to reduce survivors efficiency of working together, reveal survivors locations, and cause negative effects when survivors enter close proximity of each other.

Height: Tall

Terror Radius: 40 Metres

Movement Speed: 4.6 m/s

Power: Eternal Damnation

Watching as people question the loyalty of their allies due to your actions fills you with a sense of enjoyment and empowerment.

Special Ability: Flames of Betrayal

Press and Hold the active ability button to charge and activate Flames of Betrayal. When you injure a survivor with your next basic attack, they are inflicted with the Burnt Trust Status Effect. Flames of Betrayal can also be used to destroy breakable walls, pallets and generators. Generators hit with Flames of Betrayal leave Flame Residue, increasing regression overtime.

. Charge time: 2.5 seconds

. Cooldown: 5 seconds

. Generator regression speed increased by 5% every 15 seconds up to a maximum of 50% extra regression speed

Special Affliction: Burnt Trust

When survivors are afflicted with the Burnt Trust status effect, they leave a small trail of constant Flames behind them, which can only be seen by the killer. Over time, Burnt Trust increases in strength by 1 up to a maximum of 10, while the Flame trail increases in size. This allows for the killer to track survivors more easily. Burnt Trust can only effect two survivors at a time. Survivors can remove this effect by healing a survivor or being healed by a survivor that are not afflicted by the status effect. Trying to remove this effect on a survivor who is already inflicted with the Burnt Trust status effect, adds progression to both survivors Burnt Trust status effect. Once it has reached max strength, Blazing Charge activates.

. Burnt Trust increase every 20 seconds

. Survivors giving unafflicted Survivors the status effect reduces current size by 0 and removes the effect

. Survivors attempting to give afflicted survivors with the status effect will increase Flame Size by 2 for both sides.

Special Ability: Blazing Charge.

When chasing a survivor with Max Burnt Trust, press and hold the active ability button to lock onto the survivor and launch into a sprint. You follow after the survivors Flame trail automatically with increased speed, also able to automatically vault after survivors with increased speed and able to charge through pallets and destroying them. Successfully hitting a survivor with Blazing Charge downs the survivor.

. Activate Time: 4 Seconds

. Duration 40 seconds

. Movement Speed increased from 4.6 m/s to 6.6 m/s

. Destroying pallets decreases power duration by 5 seconds

. Unsuccessful charge stun duration: 6 seconds

Perks

Broken Soul

When two or more survivors are repairing a generator within your Terror Radius, their repair speed is reduced by 5%/10/15% per survivor, and skill check success zones are reduced by 33%.
